More than 3,000 registrations and hundreds of certificates. The 13th edition of the Corporate Readiness Certificate has come to an end

The Corporate Readiness Certificate (CRC) once again brought together business, academia and young talent. The 13th edition attracted more than 3,000 course registrations, while 748 certificates and digital credentials were awarded to participants who developed practical skills valued by leading employers.

The 13th edition of the Corporate Readiness Certificate (CRC) has officially concluded. This nationwide educational initiative has been supporting students in developing skills valued by employers for over a decade. Launched in Katowice in 2013, CRC has become a permanent fixture in the academic calendar, bringing together business, technology and higher education.

From the very beginning, the Corporate Readiness Certificate has addressed the need to better prepare young people for the labour market. Participants gain insights into the latest trends in management and technology, develop practical skills and learn what it is like to work in some of the world’s leading international companies.

The 2026 edition was co-organised by Accenture, ING Hubs Poland and Kyndryl, with Capgemini joining as the special guest company. The programme is also co-created by the Silesian University of Technology Career Office, which has supported its organisation and development since the very first edition.

The 13th edition was held under the Honorary Patronage of Marcin Krupa, Mayor of Katowice, Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, and the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency. Media patronage was provided by the City of Łódź through its “Young in Łódź” programme.

This year’s edition offered participants an exceptionally broad educational portfolio, featuring 30 courses, including five delivered on-site in Katowice. The diversity of the programme once again demonstrated its ability to respond to the real needs of students, universities and employers by combining academic knowledge with business and technology practice.

Interest in the programme remained very strong. During the four-week registration period, 3,076 course registrations were recorded. More than 45% of participants came from universities in the Upper Silesia region, highlighting the programme’s strong connection with the region where it was established. Since its launch, the Corporate Readiness Certificate has recorded more than 29,000 course registrations, demonstrating its lasting popularity among students from across Poland.

The recruitment process also reflected the programme’s scale. A total of 2,224 initial assessment questionnaires were completed, forming the basis for participant selection. Ultimately, 940 participants were admitted to the courses.

Participants who successfully completed their learning paths received certificates and digital credentials confirming the competencies they had acquired. These recognised credentials are an important element of the programme and provide additional value on the labour market. In total, 748 certificates and digital credentials were awarded during the 13th edition.

For many participants, the programme also serves as a gateway to professional careers. Holders of CRC certificates are eligible to apply for internships and employment opportunities offered by the companies co-creating the programme.

The 2026 edition once again demonstrated that cooperation between business, universities and public institutions can effectively support students in planning their professional careers. Thanks to the commitment of the organisers, partners, patrons and trainers, CRC once again created opportunities for young people to gain practical knowledge, develop sought-after skills and build relationships with representatives of leading companies operating in technology and business.
