DAZN Media Poland is the Polish branch of DAZN Group – a company offering live and on-demand sports streaming services. That’s over 40 different sports in 200 markets for millions of users.

The platform offers over 800 sports events a year. DAZN subscribers can watch live, among others, football competitions in the best leagues in Europe (Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga), international competitions (World and European Championships), as well as all the most important competitions in such disciplines as basketball, American football, baseball, ice hockey, tennis or martial arts.We have recently expanded our offer with the introduction of NFL Game Pass, and the acquisition of Eleven has allowed us to offer local sports content not only in Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Canada, the USA and the UK, but also in Belgium, Portugal and Taiwan. We have also secured the rights to Ligue 1 in France, providing fans with an even greater sporting experience – says Krzysztof Maliński, VP Engineering DAZN.

The Katowice office has been present in Silesia since 2011, initially with approximately 100 people.  Having development of the company’s offer in mind today the Polish branch employs over 200 people from the technological and financial areas. Technology teams in Katowice have many platforms (Android, iOS and others) and technologies (Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript) in their portfolio.

Both this year and next year, DAZN Media Poland continues to further develop its Engineering department. Most of the vacancies are new positions created due to the intensive development of projects. The Mobile team in Katowice is expanding, creating applications for iOS and Android devices for millions of users around the world. In DAZN Media Poland we also welcome Node.js programmers, who take care of the backend, and JavaScript programmers who develop frontend applications for devices such as smart TVs, consoles, set-top boxes and others, because, as we know, sports are best watched on a large screen.
